The Sangham bye-laws mandates the sangham to conduct general body meetings for every two years of its tenure.  A new body is elected after presentation of secretary report for 2yrs and submission of accounts for both years. Gbs are conducted during 2021, 2023 and 2025.

This programme took its birth during covid19 in the month april, 2020.  Seeing the difficulties faced by the brahmin community esp. Archakas, purohits, japa daana purohits and other private employees, the sangham started providing provisions worth rs.1000/- after identifying deserving families.  Donations are received from brahmin community celebrating their marriage day, birth day or father or mother’s thidhi in multiples of rs.1000/-.  As many 1000s that many families get benefited. The programme was formally named as ‘Brahmana Bandhu’ as a monthly programme from august, 2020.  So far 623 families have benefited from this programme.

Brahmana Bandhu

Since the inception of the Sangham in 1994, in three consecutive years ‘Uchita Samuhika Upanayanams’ were conducted upto 1996.  However, later due to lack of interest by the parents the same could not be conducted.

However, the Samuhika Uchita Upanayanamulu are again started from 2024 regularly being conducted for a limited no. of 10 Vatuvus. The Upanayanams are conducted at Santoshimata temple, Syamala Nagar with the courtesy of Shri Gabbita Sivaram Garu who is the Chairman of the Temple Committee. The Samskaram is performed most traditionally with ‘Panchasikha’ and ‘Chevi Pogulu’.  Around 250 people dine along with vatuvus relatives.

Uchita Upanayanamulu

The Sangham celebrates Telugu New Year (Ugadi) every year with Panchanga Sravanam, honoring of Visista Vyakthulu, and distributions to the needy — new clothes to Vedic students and Upadhyayulu, and sarees to poor ladies of the community. The event is held at local temples and is open to all community members.

Note books distribution:  
From the year 2000 the programme was in the form of scholarships. Students are chosen and are given scholarships depending on the class of study with the help of donors.  Later it was reformed into distribution of note books(itc make) worth Rs.700,   as scholarship programme is not serving the intended purpose.  Every year starting 1st standard to engineering students are provided with almost 25nos. of note books sufficient for entire year.   Around 120 stundents are distributed with notebooks till 2019.  Later the programme was discontinued as the government themselves are providing every need of the students. The programme was conducted regularly at anjaneyaswamy kalyana mandapam, a.t.agraharam, guntur.


Srividyanidhi:
However, from 2023 a new scheme was started in the name of ‘Sri Vidyanidhi’ for students who are studying final year of professional courses (B.tech, Polytechnic, B.pharmcy etc). Accordingly applications are distributed among interested students. Filled applications along with relevant supporting documents, interview with parent & student, cross verification of details and conduct with principal, house visit to assess the eligibility and deserving nature of the scholarships by the students are shortlisted. After this exercise a final list of qualified students is prepared and according to the funds availability the students are awarded scholarships of entire year fee (maximum of Rs.50,000/-). The function is conducted at 6th line office of the Sangham regularly. The students are required to return the amount without interest once they are settled in a job.

On Jandhyala Pournami (Upakarma day), the Sangham distributes Yagnopaveethams (sacred threads) free of cost through temples, Vedapathasalas and member residences — 2000 distributed at 34 places in 2024, reaching Guntur, Hyderabad, and even London.

Mahalaya Pakshalu forming part ‘Pitru Karmalu’ is conducted every year during Bhadrapada Masam from 2025 onwards. Since then, it is conducted twice during those 15 days. Samuhika Tilatarpanams are offered under the guidance of a brahma.

Mahalaya Pakshalu

Karthika Samaradhana is the largest gathering of the Sangham year — a grand community feast during the holy month of Karthika, with cultural and music programmes, donor felicitations and publication of the year's Sampradaya Calendar. Attendance has grown from 650 in 2023 to around 1000 Brahmins in recent years.

Arama Kshetram is the Sangham's own facility for final rites — built on a 400 sq. yard site procured in 2011 near Visalakshi Cold Storage on the Guntur–Chilakaluripet Highway, with Gruhapravesam in 2015 and the first floor inaugurated in December 2023. The Sangham is now expanding: 100 sq. yards purchased in 2025-26 and Bhudanam collection for 200 more sq. yards is ongoing.

The Sangham coordinates Masikam (monthly) and Abdikam (annual) memorial rites for Brahmin families — a service especially valued by members staying outside Andhra Pradesh and abroad. Working with family priests and Arama Kshetram, the Sangham ensures rites are performed properly even when the family cannot travel to Guntur.
